Preparation and Tea Tips

Black Tea -- Rolling Boil - 200-212 F - Infuse 4-5 Minutes
Green Tea -- High Steam - 170- 185 F - Infuse 2-3 Minutes




When storing your tea - avoid light, heat, air, and moisture.
Use good water - spring or filtered water will improve the taste of your tea.
Be aware of the temperature of the water in relation to the type of tea you are preparing - boiling water will make green tea bitter.
1Teaspoon loose tea per cup using Stainless Infuser, 1 Tablespoon loose tea using Infuser Pitcher, 2 Tablespoons loose tea using Tea Pot Infuser. Adjust for stronger or weaker tea preference.
Eliminate approximately 85% of the caffeine by pouring out the first 30 seconds of an infusion and starting over with the same leaves. Get the most from your leaves with multiple infusions.
When preparing Iced Tea, double your leaves to allow for dilution over ice or simply let your hot tea cool before pouring over ice.
